Attracting Success The Right Way
The human brain has a remarkable problem solving ability. Yet many people struggle along with problems they could easily solve and endure lives they could easily change -- if only they instruct the brain properly and then let it do all the hard work.
The first thing you must realize about the brain is the subconscious part thinks in pictures. That's why many people -- including many record breaking athletes -- swear by visualization. But, like any activity, if you want the right results you need to do it properly.
Many advocates of visualization will suggest you look at a picture of the object of your desire. The idea is by constantly seeing the photograph of a particular car, it will implant itself in your brain and the car will materialize in your life. Close, but no cigar!
Looking at a photograph of a car will not impress your subconscious to the degree you could if you visualized correctly. The way to correctly visualize you owning that car is not to simply stare at a picture -- you must picture yourself driving the thing! And, as you need to imbue all your senses --touch, smell as well as sight -- the best course of action is to go and take a test drive.
Before you start out you must know exactly the model you want and the color you will have. Ideally you should test drive the exact model.
On the day of the test drive, act like a human sponge and soak up every nuance of the experience. The way your body sinks into the seat. How the seat wraps itself around you, like a cocoon. The solid "clunk" as the door shuts. That "new car" smell. Now reach out and grasp the steering wheel. Look out over the hood. Finger the controls. Take it all in.
Then go for the drive. Imagine yourself driving back to your beautiful home in this magnificent vehicle, after pulling off some amazing deal which has just rocketed your wealth into the stratosphere.
This experience will give your subconscious something to work on.
Then, at least twice a day -- and particularly upon retiring -- you should relive this drive in every glorious detail. Again the scenario should be you driving home after pulling off some amazing deal. And, at the same time, repeat to your self:.
"I own this magnificent vehicle, which I fully deserve because I am worth it, because I add value and pleasure to people's lives.".
You can vary the words to ones you are comfortable with, but be sure you use the present tense: "I drive" not "I will be driving" or "I want to have". You must also be careful to use the verb "own" and not "drive". After all, you don't want to end up chauffeuring someone else around in this exact same model, do you?
So how do you get from visualizing the car to actually owning it? That's where the finest super computer in the world comes in and why it's important to fall asleep seeing yourself driving. Because, perhaps not tomorrow -- it may not even be for a month or two, but if you visualize owning this car regularly, your brain will eventually come up with a plan for you to own it.
